At Smart Supplies we have been working on a fresh, smart approach to the procurement of B2b supplies. This has driven us to update our online systems to become the most open and efficient in the industry. “Open” means all our prices , product & supply options are available for scrutiny. “Efficient” means we operate online, with a web based system covering over 5500 categories of product from all the top Australian B2b brands. That keeps our costs down & savings directly to you. You as a customer ask questions of us on our online format , not us asking questions of you! Effectively a "what if" of supply.

Recently we had an order from a past business customer who had been persuaded to enter a contract arrangement for Office Supplies. They returned to us because they discovered they were charged more than four-times our online price for an item that wasn’t on the contract (upto 600% markup!). When they reviewed their invoices they realised that their total cost of office supplies was significantly greater under the contract than Smart Supplies open-costs, notwithstanding the small saving they might have made on the ‘contracted’ items.

We believe transparency is the best friend of customers. We are happy to explore ‘contract’ deals with you on items you purchase regularly but you will never pay more for the privilege of any negotiations, than our already low openly-registered online prices. Transparency is what we are all about at Smart Supplies, our cards are always on the table.

This philosophy is driving our “next-gen” Smart Supplies. You will notice two important changes to our online system. Firstly, we have provided a new way of searching for products and information through our “Smart Solutions” section. Watch this space as we organise our information in ways that match your needs, whether it be training solutions, health and safety solutions or even environmentally-friendly solutions. More open, more efficient. Secondly, you will notice our expanding product range – our recent addition has been information technology and communication supplies.
